Our Cruisetour Itinerary

In June of this year, we thought we would try a new twist for those who have visited the Alaska Inside Passage previously and add an inland tour. You will travel via the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to see the majesty of Denali National Park and Mt. McKinley, America’s tallest peak! Truly an awe inspiring sight! We’ll cruise on Holland America Line’s wonderful ship, the ms Statendam. You’ll be part of a warm group of fun-loving people sharing a common interest in quilting, and have an opportunity to make new friends, one quilter at a time!

If you cannot join us for the full tour, we also have a cruise-only option available. It sails down the magnificent Inside Passage from Seward, Alaska and offers all the same classes and teachers!

Our classes are held during “at sea” days and we make every attempt to schedule classes outside of port time. There are a wide variety of classes from which to choose, taught by four of the most renowned instructors in the world of quilting:

Sue Nickels, Karen Combs, Kathy McNeil and Stevii Graves!

While in port, you can play tourist, choosing your pleasure, whether it be walking, touring, flight-seeing or shopping! All the ports are right on the water, and there is a lot to see within walking distance! Or you can just relax on the ship, our floating hotel.
