Thank you to everyone who helped make the Panama Canal such an awesome trip! We had such a great group of people—everyone was very encouraging and helpful to one another!

We sat sail out of Ft. Lauderdale while enjoying our Welcome Orientation! Our teachers, Karen Kay Buckley, Christine Porter, Mary Lou Weidman and Kathy Kansier told all about their classes and we also had some fantastic door prizes to give away!

Then, of course, dinner! The food on board the ship was wonderful. It is said that salt air shrinks clothing, and it must be true because it couldn’t have been the lovely desserts and decadent dinners that were being served every night!

The classes were great—and our teachers were troopers! Karen lost her voice a few days into the cruise and Kathy injured the thumb on her left hand (and she’s left handed!) but they still prevailed.

We will definitely try the Round Robin sampler again. There were so many great reviews on that morning. How fun and a what a great way to see what all the teachers are up to!

And thank you for all your comments and feedback—we love it! It helps improve the program for next time.

We will be getting photos up soon! I can’t wait to get some of them from the show-and-tell party up so we can see the projects. If you’ve been finishing up one of the projects, email us a photo and we’ll get it up for people to see!
